Pica Pica launches

 Lockhart under the tree

December is in full swing and I had to get my blog up and running in preparation for the new year and all the new stuffs that doll life has in store.
I have had requests for, and also have the intention of, offering faceups soon, so I have compiled a rough commissions page which will start things rolling next year. I don't think it's wise to start anything during this busy postal period for fear of a head getting lost in the post. Or a head getting lost right here trying to squeeze everything into 2 short weeks!
Naw... I won't lose my head. I'm quite organised this year.

It might be a little confusing that I'm mainly known by Sioux's and Moo's (and various combinations of) in dolly circles, but with all the Fairy, Mystery, Luck and Bad Luck that I've experienced within the first two years of the hobby, and the almost destined creation of the character 'Magpie' (my largest doll at the moment), I thought it was time to acknowledge all the 'signs' and create a themed, sensible presence to start giving something back to the hobby that makes me happy. Pica Pica.
I don't know where it'll end up, but today, on the last repeated date of my lifetime, it's going to start. Right in the midst of the festive, joyful, Christmas build up. I hope these are good auspices. I won't even contemplate Mayan Calendars or Global meltdowns right now! I mean, look... Lockhart is already getting into the spirit of things [above]. And who could argue with that face!

I'll celebrate the launch with some festive start-up offers (probably via Youtube) to bulk-up my portfolio as I start out in official commissions land. There are also some Youtube milestones to celebrate too (80 subscribers and over 10 000 views)!.

Updates may be sparodic to start with, but with a new computer on the January-sales horizon, things should pick up pace in the new year! :)

Happy Dollidays!
